And the price of the new one? Just tell me so I can decide if I want to continue doing business with you.But it was a mystery of sorts. I keep my desktop offline because it has lots of legacy software on it.So having to reactivate is a royal pain.Īnyway.while I'm trying to find the update it tells me I could UPGRADE to the new product. Now why would I want to buy a newer version when I am having such fits with the old one. Needing an update is pretty common.but what is NOT COMMON IS the hoops you have to go through to install and worry about whether your have authorized it or de-authorized and I already had issues with it wanting me to put my long key in every time I used it.They say this "depends on the system".what that means is anyone's guess. So I finally went to the website and after a bit of digging found the PC update which wasn't under "support" but under "resources". I clicked the link.and it failed repeatedly. I was immediately told to go to their website for an update. The program allows you to put it on more than one computer as long as you were the only user. I enjoyed Moho until, my old windows unit was in failure and I decided to transfer to the new MAC and a windows laptop. At that time my other animation software, Toon Boom was being replaced with Harmony and the pricing was way over my hobby budget. But as I looked to move to a Mac system and buy software that I could easily transfer from my dying windows system, I gave them one last chance and bought this program because it was cross platform. I also bought Clip Art Pro which promptly disappeared from their lineup. While they owned it, little was done to develop it and they seemed more interested in protecting their rights than providing the customer with a positive experience. Update: I have a long history with Smith Micro having been a POSER user since it first came out.
